Product Details

Alright, let's play a basic game of golf cart part trivia. The first one is easy; how many belts do you have? If you said two, I am sorry; you are the weakest link! There are two visible belts: the starter belt around the generator pulley and the drive belt that loops the primary and secondary clutches. The third belt is hidden. It is located under a metal cover on the engine. Take a look at the EZGO Timing Belt for 4-Cycle carts.

The culprit, known as the golf cart timing belt, keeps the cam gears of the caddie in the proper place. If the EZGO belt wears out and gets stretched, the timing will jump. This means the sark does not happen when it should, either making the cart miss or not run at all. So if it feels like there is an electrical problem with your ignition system, take the valve cover off. Check the OEM timing belt first, and then call Buggies Unlimited for whatever you need.
