Have you ever pulled up the floor mat of your EZGO and seen that little box in front of the gas pedal? The first time you see it, you feel like you have discovered a secret compartment or something. When in reality, it just holds a bunch of electrical stuff. Everything that sends a signal from the accelerator pedal to the controller and beyond is down there. First and foremost, you have a little accelerator pedal micro-switch activated by a linkage rod; this sends the signal to click the solenoid. That same rod plunges into an inductive throttle sensor that tells your controller the accelerator pedal position. All of that is wired together in a pigtail which plugs into your harness.Oh, and that's just the electrical side of things. You also have nuts and bolts, linkages, and frameworks. This hassle is why we package this nice and neatly for you in the E-Z-GO TXT 48-Volt Pedal Box Assembly With ITS Sensor. Call Buggies Unlimited and get one coming.
