The Yamaha Front Hub Dust Cover has an essential job. Without it, the spindle and bearings would be open to all the debris from the outside world. Once it's allowed to penetrate this area, things go downhill quickly. A few tiny grains of sand is all it takes to blow out a bearing. Then your hub is the next thing in line, followed by the axle, and the problems do not stop there. There is no such thing as "we got lucky" when it comes to golf carts. One minor problem will snowball into a big issue. Do not let a molehill become a mountain when the solution to this issue is as simple as snapping a new one in place.
