Thank the golf cart gods for Powerwise chargers. These were the innovators that got the game started with automatic chargers. Up until this point, these units were manual. You had to set a dial to a specific charge time and hope you were not under or overcharging. The charge time should be based on usage. Asking an end-user to get out there with a voltmeter and determine how much charge time they need is a little much. Parts like the E-Z-GO Powerwise Control Board took that task out of your hands. Not the charger looks for a specific voltage level before it will shut off. This ensures that you get the proper charge and not something more or less than you need.This golf cart control board is something that is located in the charger.
