Understanding Heavy Duty Leaf Springs and Shocks

Heavy Duty Rear Leaf Springs

  • - Used when cart is under loads (rear seat or cargo box)
  • - Available for Club Car and EZ-GO models
  • - Height of cart will increase by 1-2 inches in rear

Heavy duty leaf springs are used to add extra support to the rear of a golf cart when there is a higher grade load on the rear of a cart, such as a rear seat or cargo box. Heavy duty leaf springs differ from stock leaf springs as they include three to four leafs rather than the two-leaf stock version. While heavy duty leaf springs can be used on the rear of a stock golf cart, it is only recommended to install these type leaf springs when there is the need for them due to load capacity. If there is no increased load, it can cause the stock cart's "ride" to feel more "stiff".

Heavy Duty Rear Shocks
