Plastic Drive Rivets work by pushing the stem of the buckle through a hole in the golf cart's body or access panel or whatever you are working on. The fastener is then secured by pushing the pin through the middle of the rivet, causing the sides to expand. These things are used for everything on your golf cart. For all of you more weathered golf cart techs, this is the new Christmas tree rivet. If it fits, why not use it uniformly so that you do not have to gather a bunch of different parts when it is time to replace things. This black plastic rivet with a center drive pin is used commonly on EZGO and Yamaha golf carts. If you are thinking of applying it universally, the measurements are as follows; the head diameter is 5/8-inch, the body diameter comes in at a quarter-inch, and finally, the body length extends 3/4-inch. If you try to match it to an OEM part number, this aftermarket replacement crosses to 18436-G1. All questions answered? Then give Buggies Unlimited a call!
