Cart Subtotal:
We bet you worked hard today. It does not matter what you do. There are all kinds of representations of that phrase. You could have been digging ditches or writing descriptions for products on websites all day; either way, you are tired at the end of the day. If there is one part golf cart that we could guarantee worked harder, it was the solenoid. This contactor is a heavy-duty electromagnetic switch that passes the amperage and voltage from the battery to the starter. Unlike the one on your car or truck, it is continuous duty. Meaning when you hear it click in, it stays activated until you release the pedal. If your battery voltage drops and the amperage spikes, your solenoid will take the hit.
Keeping a golf cart solenoid on the shelf is a smart thing to do. These things go out more than teenagers to the mall. Stay ahead of the inevitable with an army of E-Z-GO parts to keep things running. Buggies Unlimited has your back.
You have the two small wires that go to the two small terminals. They're positive and negative. It doesn't really matter which one is which, but if you can, put the negative to ground. It's probably white. The big terminals are are contact for the power you are switching, 12 volt positive. Again, it doesn't really matter which is which. You'd be hard pressed to mess it up. Haha
I don’t know that answer
I can tell you it worked perfectly on a 1993 Hyundai golf car. I can also tell you that buggiesunlimited was really prompt shipping, and easy to deal with.
