The Columbia Harley Davidson Throttle Cable at Buggies Unlimited is the part you need to make your golf cart get its full range of speed. However, many customers have called us frustrated after chasing an acceleration problem they just can't seem to nail. We can't blame them either. With issues like these, you would initially think engine issue. The worst feeling in the world is completing a long rebuild and not getting any better performance. As a matter of fact, what's even worse is realizing that all of the work was unneeded, and you could have swapped an inexpensive cable. Call our techs first.
Getting a proper diagnosis of what your carriage is doing is a hard thing to come by. Your local shop will want to charge you a fee to troubleshoot your issues. Half the time, they do not get it right. Then you end up replacing Columbia parts that are not what you needed, and you are still in the same boat. We offer a free tech service from a crew of guys doing it for over fifty years collectively. We will never suggest a part that won't fix your cart just to get an installation fee.
As far as mounting these golf cart parts up, this is not something you need the assistance of a dealer or a professional shop for. You can do it yourself right in the comfort of your garage or driveway, of course. So don't worry if you have never tackled anything like this in the past. You may want to ask for a Harley or Columbia OEM service manual. It will walk you through the process.
Buggies Unlimited has a force of golf cart parts that you will not find another who surpasses. Uniquely, we ensure to carry everything you need, including the Harley throttle cable, to keep vintage golf carts on the road for as long as possible.
if the ends are the same, and the length is the same or longer you should be able to make it work. longer cables can be routed differently to acomidate. hope this helps.....
It will fit all the way back to 64 my parcar was a 64 and the item fit with no issues
YES IT WILL . EXACTLY WHAT I BOUGHT FOR SAME MODEL
It's a push cable that is just straight cable at the carb end. The other end has a threaded nut on it to attached to the gas pedal assembly.
If the ends are the same and the length is the same or longer you should be able to get it to work . You may have to reroute it in order to get it installed. Hope this helps you out.
