Club Car has a knack for getting it right, and when they do, they run with that success for a long time. Why not, right? That's why you were probably a little surprised to see such a wide-year range for this Club Car DS 36 / 48-Volt Advanced DC Motor Replacement. Well, as long as you have a series-powered golf cart, this will work fine; that means you need a lever-style forward and reverse switch to ensure this is the correct motor without getting too technical. Outside of the proper system identification of your cart, all you are going to need is a buddy and a basic set of sockets.
This motorsports 2.4 horsepower at 36 volts and a whopping 3.5 at 48 volts; either way, that is much better than OEM. You are not mistaken; upgrading your voltage does nothing but help your performance. Make the leap and upgrade to 48 volts, but before you do it, call Buggies Unlimited and get this motor coming your way.
These should be 5/16 we carry the terminal ends, you will just have to ask a sales rep as they are not on our website
most of the motors are the same the windings are different jest make sure the splineds are the same
THere 4 wires on the motor. I do not have a white wire on my cart. If you can give me more info as to the white wire where does it start. I may be able to help.

only if you are looking to upgrade your current motor, if your motor is failing and you just want to change it for another one with the same specs you don't need to replace the motor controller.
