The EZGO Fan-Side Crankshaft Oil Seal is a party pooper of a part when it blows out. We make sure to keep them in spades just because of how common it is. When it happened, the pressure in your crankcase drops. Why does that matter? The fuel pump has an internal diaphragm that uses the fluctuating pressure inside the case. It is used to draw and pump the fuel from the tank and up to the carb. If that little seal blows, the pressure will bleed off, and when there are only one to three pounds of it, it does not take long.
