Product Details

The Yamaha Key Switch serves a significant purpose. This one works for the G11, G16, and G20-G22 models. It is a part of what is called the activation circuit. This refers to the series of switches that help activate the solenoid. They are directly in series with it, or they send a signal to the controller, which then activates the solenoid. On the older models, you are relaying the signal from a power source through several switches back to the solenoid. The newer models, like the G22, for example, use the controller as a routing point. Either way, this product is a vital step in the process.

If it goes bad, the caddie will cease to function altogether. There is no going bad period where it will work at a resisted rate. It's working, or it's not. This golf cart key switch is effortless to replace, though. If you have ever plugged in a lamp, you are overqualified. Give Buggies Unlimited a call today.

Worked out Great!!
Ordered this once and it never appeared...so I ordered it again and it was shipped within 48 hours and arrived in perfect packaged condition. Took all of 10 minutes to put back in Golf Cart and it works perfectly. BTW...someone stole the key out of my Golf Cart and I was glad that Buggies Unlimited had a brand new key switch that comes two keys in stock and ready to go.

SWITCH SAME AS PICTURE? KEY WITH SWITCH?

Yes, I think I had to bypass the connector on my cart. My old keys didn't work at first, the switch needed some wear and work now.

Says for models g11-g22, but the g19 is not listed in the specifications. Will this work for the g19?

Not sure of the plastic snap connection but it is a simple On/Off Switch that can be spliced into the circuit wiring.

What does the connector connect to on a G16?
Will electric cart not move when tow switch is in tow mode?
