The leaf springs on the rear of any Club Car or EZGO are significant to ride stability and weight distribution, among other things. The rear leaf springs support all of the driver's weight. Making sure they are correctly mounted is a crucial safety factor. The front eyelet on the spring climbs into a frame rail, but the rear uses a shackle that gets secured by an E-Z-GO TXT Rear Shackle Bolt. This is a hanging two-piece bracket system that attaches the leaf spring securely with the aid of bushings as well. If any part of the system bends or wears down, it will cause the suspension to sag and be noisy. Don't let it get to that point; with less than an hour's worth of work, you can have it like new again.This golf cart bolt is easy to install.
