The Club Car Forward and Reverse Case from Buggies Unlimited is one of the easiest ways you can tell if your caddie is a series or shunt would vehicle. If you have a push-button style, you fall in the latter category; if it's a lever, the former. This ultimately boils down to how the power gets delivered to the motor. On a series system, the Foward and Reverse switch manually flips the polarity. You are essentially using the switch to change how the energy flows to the motor.
