When your Yamaha Drive Belt for 2007 to 2016 G29 and Drive starts to go faulty, you will hear it. At first, it will only be when you are trying to climb up a steep hill. You will start up it, and it will sound like a basset hound was chasing you. It will make you look for a dog that's not there. That's because the barking you are hearing is coming from a polished belt sliding across the smooth sheaves of your clutch. As it gets worse, you will start to hear it when you take off from a stop. It will get so bad that the only time it stops is at high speed. All of this is avoidable, of course. All you need to do is stay up on your seasonal maintenance.
This golf cart drive belt is 41 and an eighth inches long. You can measure the circumference of your existing belt to see if you need a new one. The one I received was aftermarket.
make sure that you change both belts at the same time .if you need help go to you tube on changing drive belt.
tell richard he should look to see if driven pulley has worn holes through the side because my new belt failed quickly and I had to replace the pully and get another belt--Roberta and David
I have a 2013 yamaha with fuel injection and the 39inch belt works for me

Hi Wilburn, if you have an electric 48-volt system, then no you will not have a drive belt. Drive belts are for gas carts only.
