Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have the power of prediction? If you could tell the future a few hours before it occurs. Would it be helpful or a burden? You would almost have a civic responsibility to become a pseudo superhero at that point. Or do you keep your power a secret, maybe just use it to tell when the batteries on your caddie are going to die? That way, you don't get left high and dry on the golf course again. Well, we are here to tell you, you could have this ability shipped right to your door with the EZGO State-Of-Charge Meter for RXV. Stop guessing how much juice you have left and get a gas gauge for your electric coach.
This golf cart meter is just like the one that was on your cart. It will plug in just like the old one did. You can do this in a half-hour alone. Still, we recommend always having a buddy there if you are working with electricity. If you have any questions, please call us at Buggies Unlimited today to get your EZGO part on the way.
Yes, mating plug behind dash. I had a problem compressing the tabs on the original meter to get it out. Also, the new meter is slightly smaller and the locking tab at the too doesn't keep it in position. The meter works just like the OEM meter so electrically and appearance wise it is a perfect replacement. My problem with a mysterious drop to zero charge reading though wasn't solved, the replacement is working like my OEM did. I still haven't found the issue.
NO backlight, there is a yellow warning light when battery meter senses low battery level
No, a meter has to be calibrated for the correct full scale voltage present. You woul need a voltmeter calibrated for the right voltage.
This would not work with eco.
No guide came with mine. Measured meter myself and cut hole in plastic with a circular hole saw. Easy to do. Meter simply plugs in to the already present receptacle wiring. Took me about an hour as the dash needs to come apart a bit.
