Product Details

We would be willing to bet this is not your first rodeo. If it is, great, but this lift kit is what someone turns to when they discover the cheap one they bought isn't up to mustard. Ride quality and handling the terrain is a big thing when it comes to off-roading; let Buggies Unlimited show you the way with the Club Car DS GTW 6″ Double A-Arm Lift Kit. Our kit takes the average spindle or block lift kit and blows it out of the water like a torpedo.

The key to making sure this kit works for your golf cart is your front hubs. We are talking about the small round cap that protrudes thru the center of your front wheels. If that cap is metal, this lift kit will work fantastically. Are you ready to increase suspension travel while providing a smooth off-road experience? Well, look no further than Buggies Unlimited and get one ordered today.

  • 1997-Mid 2003 GAS Club Car DS

I did it all by myself
My personal opinion is that it’s simply easy, as long as you read the instructions and follow it. It looks awesome and I can’t wait to get the wheels installed. Onlyy improvement is to include the 1/2 inch drill bit that may be needed by a few

A nice refresh for our lifted cart
Product came well packed for shipping and looked good. The picture instructions were good for general orientation. We didn’t remove the cowl, so the bolts holding the main assembly were more challenging to align. The ride is solid and smooth. While we hope we won’t need them, it’s good to know replacement parts are available if we do at some point.

This was a great and easy install. My cart was an 88 with old style rear shocks. you can use the old shocks with this lift and will need to get a different type. I haven't looked into that yet. Keep the front hardware that holds the front end on, you need to use it.

Very easy to install. I suggest replacing the back springs and having carriage bolts for replacement.

What size tire and wheels should I use on this lift kit that won't lift it to high and still look ok? Yes

if you are concerned about lift being too high I suggest you look at a 4" lift kit, I have the larger tires and wheels on mine and it is pretty high, but I do go off road at times..My son used a 4" on his and it is just like mine but not so high..this lift kit is great as far as handling goes..Hope this helps.

Can I go with a 3+5 Offset on this lift kit? If not what Offset/s will it fit?

Should not be a problem. I used 3+4 on mine and there's plenty of room for another inch or so

I am new to golf cart lifts. But which wheel/tire size is good without running a spacer? Id prefer tires in the 20ish range

With a 20 you may not need the spacer but if you get off-road tires be careful making sharp turns

Will this kit work on a 1999 gas Club Car?

I think so

Do I need to buy two, one for front and back? Sorry for dumb question but I am new to all this.

No everything is in the kit. Easy to install. Good luck

Will this work on a 2000 carryall with no front brakes?

Jamison yes if you cart does not have front brakes then this will be a perfect fit for you cart

If I put on a 6 inch lift kit what the biggest size tires I can put on with out touching if I go off road?

I have 12” rims and could go bigger as there is a lot of clearance still. I don’t know exactly how much bigger though.

Do you need to change the gear ratio when going to bigger tires?

Good question, it is not necessary. However, you will notice a proportional speed increase relative to the tire size increase (e.g., 18" to 23" tires = 22% = 22% increase in speed). System component upgrades are relative to your application. If you are using the cart on flat ground with a 4 seat configuration, you will be just fine. Any excessive runtime and loads (weight/hills) will require slight performance modifications. Again, this all relative to your specific needs. You can always learn more at buggiesgonewild

I have a 95 carry all 2 that has been converted to gas, it has the metal caps on the front, will this kit work with my car?

Jake, I need to get new u-bolts that come with the lift kit. The ones provided stripped out. How do I get these?

thx

Will it fit 99 carry all 6?

If it has front brakes, and you want to keep them, answer is no. Jakes spindle lift is all that will work. The front brake components can be removed (cables as well) and it will fit. You have metal dust caps on the spindles, so make sure you get the kit for pre 2004.
Hope this helps.
