Cart Subtotal:
Steering your golf cart seems like an easy task. We can assure you that several moving parts help accomplish this, even minor items like the Tie Rod End for EZGO. Most golf carts use a rack and rod steering set-up. A steering column with a wheel mounted to it runs down through the floorboard. It attaches to the steering box. This happens right at the pinion gear. This drillbit-looking device rotates as you turn the wheel and the rack moves. This sounds more complicated than it really is. Once you tear it down, you will see the simplicity in it.This is a long bar that has teeth. The tie rods attached to it turn the spindles that connect to your wheels as it moves. If any of these parts fail, you cannot steer your golf cart. We do not need to tell you that this is a big issue. It can be inconvenient if your steering fails while the caddie is sitting still. However, if it goes while driving around, which is most common, you could be in for an expensive surprise. Not to mention a painful one if you are as lucky as we are. This EZGO tie rod end is a left-handed thread. You will need two of them total and one right-handed to complete the steering. That is three to do the entire golf cart. Give Buggies Unlimited a call and get it all shipped today. We can have you up and running real soon.
