When you need ground clearance to ensure the life of your floorboards, look no further than the GTW 6 Inch Double A-Arm Lift Kit. This unit fits the Club Car DS 2004.5-Up with plastic hub covers, and it will work for gas & electric models. With increased suspension travel, this kit will provide for a smoother off-road experience. Even if you have an older Club Car, you can install this lift by converting it to a newer style front hub. The beauty of an a-arm system is it allows for camber and tow adjustments, which will increase your tires' life. Get the grease gun ready as it's complete with pivot point grease fittings for easy maintenance.
A 6-inch lift allows up to a 25-inch tall tire. But if you are using it offroad, limit yourself to a 22-inch to be safe. We also have customizable options for your a-arms with many sets of color bushings that are sold separately. The only thing left to do is complete your new off-road suspension by upgrading your golf cart's rear leaf springs to a new heavy-duty set. Call Buggies Unlimited now.
I reused the ones that were on my buggy...fit fine and worked great...only issue i had was the rod that connects both tires didnt go high enough...after further investigation i found i had a preinstalled 1.5 inch lift on front end...heated and bent to fit and allignment worked out just as directed by manufacturer...hope this helps
With the stock springs I have an inch and a half beyond the nuts
Should work just fine. I would recommend changing the front hubs out though. I had an issue getting the alignment correct once lifted until a new set of hubs with fresh bearings had been installed. It’s your call.
Safely up to 23 inch tires
No, if your Carryall has the factory front mechanical brakes, you would need to use the Spindle lift designed specifically for that model
No
Sounds like a bushing problem, try and isolate the sound, then check all bushings associated with that wheel,/ and or steering mechanism/ good luck TB
Hi Harley, unfortunately we are not able to break those lift kits apart to get pieces out of them. We receive them from GTW as a whole kit.
