I have a Yamaha g1 gas and I just replaced the ignition switch and now it will start in reverse, but not in forward, it cranks but no spark in drive. Help???
Does this have a 4 and a 6 pin out? It looks like it has a 4 and 3, but not sure if its just the picture.

Four pins in (female) and 6 pins out (male). Fit perfect into my 1981 G-1.

Ignition switch for gas powered Hundahi cart ?

Those cars were similar to Yamaha's but there were a lot of differences as well. Can you send us a picture of the key switch removed from the car?

What is the key switch position from far left to right turning clockwise?

To clarify the directions: turning counterclockwise indicates the forward position, upright represents a neutral position, and turning clockwise indicates reverse.

is this for a Yamaha golf cart that has forward and reverse in the key switch? i have a G1 84 or 85 year.

I used it on our 1986 G1-AM and it worked and is still working fine.
