Cart Subtotal:
The suspension on a Club Car or EZGO is leaf spring-based. Much like the suspension setup on a heavy-duty truck or SUV set up for towing, these golf carts have multiple leaf springs, one on each side to carry all the weight you could need to haul. They make springs with three, four, or even five leafs staked up for heavier weight resistance if the OEM is not enough. But make sure that when you upgrade to those higher-weight capacity springs, you also upgrade the Club Car DS Leaf Spring U-Bolt. Nothing will let you down faster than a broken bolt when you have just replaced what it supports.A broken golf cart U-bolt is never a fun thing to have to deal with. The leaf spring of your caddie supports all of the weight in the rear and your axle. If one shears, you are at minimum looking at a broken leaf spring and a possible damaged axle. Let's stay ahead of all of that and make sure we have all the heavy-duty upgrades we need.
