1992-Up Club Car with FE290 Engine - Exhaust Header Gasket

The Club Car Exhaust Header Gasket for the 290cc engine helps keep the compression up where it needs to be. The cylinder of any four-cycle cart should be able to withstand about 150 pounds of pressure or better. Below 120 pounds, the caddie will struggle to run, and it will not run below 100 pounds. The compression reading has to be taken with a gauge. You can usually pick one up for about 20 bucks at the hardware store. If you do not have one handy, take your spark plug out, put your hand over the hole, and then hit the pedal. If there is enough force generated to move your hand, typically, you are in a reasonable range.
