If a question gets asked more about steering wheels, we are unsure what it would be. The top two requests are always, does it need an adaptor, and why can't I hook my horn up to it? Well, let's see if we can get both of those answered on the record. If you are using an aftermarket steering wheel, you are going to need an adaptor. There are a few exceptions, but they will be clearly indicated. This E-Z-GO Carbon Fiber Racer Steering Wheel comes with a chrome adaptor kit included.These are racing steering wheels for cars. We use an adaptor to make it work for a golf cart. The horn button relies on a movable metal plate in the steering column that cars have, but buggies do not. Without that plate, you would have to wire your horn directly, and every time you turned the wheel, it would pull the wires out. The racer steering wheel fits EZGO gas and electric models that are newer than 1994.5. We use carbon fiber with a textured black outer grip for a stylish appearance complemented by the brushed silver three-spoke centerpiece. Much larger than stock, this unit will measure 12.5 inches in outside diameter.
