Product Details

The E-Z-GO TXT Tie Rod Assembly from Buggies Unlimited is a vital steering component. All golf cart parts of this assembly have a purpose that you cannot overlook. If things in this system are neglected, it may leave you up the creek without a paddle, but it could also put you in danger's way. The last thing you need is a tie rod to fail at high speed. As a matter of fact, we cannot think of a worse situation when rapidly approaching a corner. Stay on top of things like this with quick inspections now and then.

You can do all kinds of things to help yourself stay on the road. A seasonal maintenance schedule with an E-Z-GO tune-up is key to that success. If you are good about keeping your oil changed, add a quick look under the coach and put your mind at ease. It would help if you addressed any signs of wear and tear as soon as you notice them. If you can catch something early enough, it can prevent other costly repairs. Anything that is wearing out has a chance to ruin something else. Stay ahead of the chaos by taking a quick look.

There is nothing to getting this E-Z-GO part installed. You will need to jack up the front end, so a few stands for safety and a buddy there to help never hurts. If you a lot an afternoon, you will have plenty of time left over to grab a slice and a pop as a thank you for your friend's help.

Buggies Unlimited wants to be the one and only supplier you think of when you need parts for your golf cart. We would love to have a place on your speed dial. One is for mom, and two is for the significant other; we get it. We are happy with the number three slot.

Good fit. Excellent customer service.
Perfect fit for my old (96) EzGo. Spindle was a bit too long to allow proper pinning of the castle nut but the addition of four washers fixed that. Had a problem with one of the assemblies where the ball joint would not screw completely into the tie rod. Only went about half way and froze. Contacted customer service and they shipped out a replacement immediately. Very happy.

How long is the shaft?

It's been a while, but seems like about a foot

is this for right and left side , the picture shows 2 ?

This is a set for one side. There is an inner and outer on either side. They are connected with the adjustment sleeve that is also shown. This three piece set up can be used on either side. If you are rebuilding the steering you’ll need to order two sets. I hope this helps.

is this the correct tie rod for '97 Workhorse 1200 ??
Is one left threads and the other right threads ?

They are both right thread
