2004-Up Club Car Precedent - Flange Lock Nut

This Club Car Flange Lock Nut for the 2004-up Precedent model is a trendsetter in the industry. This was the first time anything other than a castle nut and cotter pin was used to keep the hub in place. This changed a few things that make it imperative to read your manual to find out about before servicing. For example, if you had an older caddie that used the castle nut set up, you would see that the pounds per square inch required to put one of these on is much less. The older style is anywhere from 140-150 pounds; these little dudes only need 60-65 pounds. Hit them with the former, and you will be replacing your spindle too. Having an OEM Club Car manual on hand can prevent all of this.
