There are two clutches on your Yamaha G29. You have a primary clutch on the top side of the engine with all kinds of moving parts and can cause an assortment of issues. However, that is a chat for another product. You also have what's called a secondary or driven clutch that is mounted above the rear axle. This clutch spins the gears inside of the transmission, putting power to the wheels. It does this when the drive belt gets rotated by the drive clutch. That belt rides on the Yamaha Driven Clutch Sliding Sheave on one side and the fixed sheave on the other.

As you can imagine, over time, these parts will start to wear out with the constant friction of the belt. The first to go is usually the Yamaha driven clutch sliding sheave. This one will fit the Yamaha G29/Drive 2012-2016 and Drive2 2017-Up models. If you have your parts book handy, the OEM number that this aftermarket product replaces is JW8-G6270-21-00 and JW8-G6270-22-00. Call Buggies Unlimited and check stock before you order.
