The Yamaha Inner Tie Rod often gets overlooked when trying to find a steering issue. This is because it attaches to the box directly and looks like a built-in component. Unfortunately, this causes customers to make a costly repair when a little elbow grease was all that was needed. This part is easily bent; this is why we try to keep plenty of them on the shelf, as this is a common issue.
If your steering radius has reduced, or if you can't turn the wheel at all, or the wheel spins freely, all could be caused by issues with this product. We are not saying it's the end all be all of steering issues, but we are saying we sell an awful lot of them. This is a repair you can make yourself. Rhonda thanks for the question. g16s do not have a inner tie rod so to say. it uses a 10889 tie rod end or if you would like a full replacement 13042 for driver 13043 for passenger
