On Club Car's and EZGO's, your suspension is provided by leaf springs. Sure they have dampers, but that is only to soften the ride. Now on Yamaha, you will not find a leaf on the thing. They use coil-over shocks similar to what is used on small cars. Just because the DS's and TXT's are set up closer to trucks does not mean Yamaha's perform any less. These Yamaha Rear Shock Absorber Assemblies for G29 models are pretty robust. They can support a good amount of rider weight plus cargo. If you need heavy-duty models, we have them available, but only use them if you plan to be loaded constantly. On a caddie with a single rider, you want to go with the stock replacements.
