2008-Up EZGO RXV Electric - Reliance Motor Brake

Ask anyone of our helpful techs at Buggies Unlimited, and they will tell you when a customer calls about a problem with an electric RXV; it's usually a motor brake problem. The OEM version of this stopping system only lasts a few years. Which, if you think about it, is excellent! Regular brakes don't last that long, and this thing is electrically stopping your 48v motor, arguably a much harder job. The Reliance E-Z-GO Electric RXV Motor Brake is an exact copy of the stock version it replaces.

The electric RXV motor brake gets mounted under the cart's rear right on the motor itself, but this is not a hard swap. Just because it's an electrical component and not the regular shoes you are used to does not mean you need to pay a pro to do this for you.
