The Club Car DS Upgraded Power Spring will give you all of your power back and then some. You will be slightly limited in top speed, but you are looking at a gain of 40 percent or better when it comes to torque.
This golf cart clutch spring is designed to install in the driven clutch. It is much stiffer than the stock Club Car spring. It is pre-loaded and will not have tines to lock it in place as it does not need them. Call Buggies Unlimited and get one shipped your way.
Please Note: These springs will only work on a factory OEM clutch. If you have an aftermarket clutch you will not be able to install it properly
It might help, unsure, you've made a lot of changes. If it's the Fe290 engine, I might suspect that the ending itself just doesn't have the HP for all those modifications

When I changed mine it turned out my old spring was broken.The new spring made a tremendous difference. I also put a couple of small cable ties on the governor spring. Just a little tension raised the rpm's just enough to make a great difference.

I purchased not for increased speed but more torque in climbing long steep hills. It worked great for added torque with 4 adults on the cart and I do believe it provided a like more speed.
this spring is for the driven clutch
this will not lower the speed but it will give the cart a lower torque range so it may help with the 5 mph speed limit
Hello, this will work on Club Car Precedent (04-15) models that have the factory driven clutch and the FE290 engine or FE350 engine.
