Your Yamaha Rear Shock is a mini version of the type that gets used on many cars. This is a coil-over shock that not only supports the weight of the caddie but softens the ride as well. This unit also serves as the front spindle yoke. That translates to is the spindle will install into a u-shaped bracket on the bottom of the shock. You still have a similar king pin set up and tie rods. Still, Yamaha incorporated these two significant parts into one combined assembly once installed. This cuts down on the number of wear parts that need to be replaced over time.

This golf cart rear shock is a single unit. There are two on your caddie, and we highly recommend that you replace both simultaneously. This will work for the G14, G16, G19, and G22 models.
